This compelling journalism reminds us all of the trauma of war and the adjustment issues that returning veterans and their families face. We are a group of local volunteers called Support Troops Network. We offer services to veterans and their families, and seek to increase awareness of what we as a community face as veterans of war continue to return to Central New York. We offer referrals, advocacy, family support, psychological counseling, other types of alternative therapies including creative arts therapy and working with horses, and educational outreach presentations at no charge.
